The Super Falcons’ forward has settled to become a role model to the players of her former team as well as boost the club’s image
Asisat Oshoala has signed up to serve as an ambassador for Nigeria Women Premier League side, FC Robo.
The Arsenal forward will front a campaign promoting the Lagos based outfit – an avenue to give back to the club that groomed her to stardom.
Oshoala has issued an authorisation mandate to Tosmicom Sports Agency and UK based sports agency, Utmostt Sports Management to flag of discussion with corporate sponsors with the aim of securing endorsement deals for the team.
“I strongly believe in the importance of female empowerment both on and off the field especially when it comes to supporting female football in Nigeria, Africa and all over the world,” Oshoala said.
“FC Robo will always have a special place in my heart as it was the club that gave me the platform to showcase my talent to the world.”
Executive director of Tosmicom Sports Agency, Adebayo Oluwasegun stated that the Arsenal star has agreed that her image right be used to promote FC Robo in a bid to attract investors.
“We are confident that with the kind of brand power Asisat Oshoala possesses, she is capable of attracting a number of high profile endorsement deals,” Adebayo said.
“We are seeking to explore the available avenues to get her the sort of corporate endorsement deals befitting her status and to use her image rights to attract investors to FC Robo.”
It will be recalled that Nigeria U17 Women’s captain to the 2016 Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan, Rasheedat Ajibade is one of the many talents produced by the side.
