Representing Nigeria at the international level is one of the highest honours in African football, and over the decades, numerous players have worn the Super Eagles’ jersey, but only a select few have enjoyed the longevity, consistency and trust required to earn more than 80 caps for the Super Eagles.

Here are the 10 Super Eagles players with the most international appearances in Nigeria’s football history.

Ahmed Musa – 111 Appearances

Ahmed Musa stands alone as Nigeria’s most-capped player, as the winger made his Super Eagles debut in 2010 and went on to represent the country at multiple Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments and FIFA World Cups.

Known for his blistering pace and leadership qualities, Musa captained the national team and became the first Nigerian to score in two different World Cups.

Vincent Enyeama – 101 Appearances

Widely regarded as Nigeria’s greatest goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama earned 101 caps between 2002 and 2015.

The former captain was instrumental in Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph and represented the country at three FIFA World Cups. His reflexes, command of the penalty area and leadership made him one of Africa’s finest goalkeepers.

Joseph Yobo – 100 Appearances

Joseph Yobo became the first Nigerian player to reach 100 international appearances.
