The 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final line-up has been confirmed after England and Argentina completed the last four with quarter-final victories.
France became the first nation to secure a semi-final place after defeating Morocco 2-0 on Thursday. Spain followed with a 2-1 win over Belgium on Friday to set up an all-European showdown.
England booked their place after coming from behind to beat Norway 2-1 after extra time in Miami, with Jude Bellingham scoring twice to inspire Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Defending champions Argentina claimed the final semi-final spot by defeating Switzerland 3-1 after extra time. Lionel Messi provided an assist before Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez sealed victory against the 10-man Swiss.

The results have produced two blockbuster semi-final fixtures. France will face Spain on Tuesday, July 14, while England will meet Argentina on Wednesday, July 15.
The third-place play-off will be played on Saturday, July 18, in Miami, with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
