The 22 qualified teams of the group stage for the Champions League season 2017/2018

BESIKTAS, who won the Turkish league last Sunday, and Roma, who became second in the Serie A, completed the list for the group stage of the Champions League.

The 22 automatic seats for that round are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid (Spain), Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Manchester United (England), Juventus, Roma (Italy), Benfica, Porto (Portugal), Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain (France), Spartak Moscow (Russia), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Anderlecht (Belgium), Feyenoord Rotterdam (Holland), Besiktas (Turkey) and  Basel (Switzerland).

In this summer, the last 10 teams will be qualified. In the ‘playoffs’ we find teams, which did not win their national league: Sevilla, Liverpool, Hoffenheim, Sporting Lisbon and Naples.

Manchester United was automatically qualified after winning the Europa League. If Liverpool qualifies, England would be represented by five teams.

The first round will begin at the end of June with clashes between the teams with the worst rankings, and the group stage will begin in September.
