Real Madrid players not happy with their performance
Real Betis are known for keeping the ball and they did exactly that when they took on Real Madrid on Sunday night, with the Andalusian side having 74 percent possession and with their visitors managing just 26 percent.
That was the lowest possession percentage for Real Madrid since a Clasico in 2011, when they had 23 percent.
On Sunday night, Real Betis completed 713 passes compared to Los Blancos’ 254.

In the end, though, all that mattered were the main numbers on the scoreboard that showed that Real Madrid won the match 2-1.
Also, for the first time in almost six decades, Real Madrid have been able to wear their all-white strip against Real Betis at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
Due to home side Real Betis’ extra-green kit this season, with green shorts now being worn, Santiago Solari’s men were able to play in their home kit.
You would have to go back to December 18, 1960, for the last time Los Blancos played in white away to the Andalusian side, but even then they were playing in blue shorts.
This is according to the Memoria Del Betis Twitter account and on that day the capital-based side were 5-0 winners with goals from some legendary players such as Ferenc Puskas and Alfredo Di Stefano.
