It was the fourth overall win for Oluyole Warriors this season after their Match Day 9 victory over MFM FC in Lagos.
Several scoring chances were also wasted by both sides, especially the homers who were under pressure to win the hearts of their fans.
Shooting Stars’ Kolawole Daniel scored in the 52nd minute to give his side an early lead in the second half. Malomo Taofeeq made it 2-0 in the 76th minute and Ayo Adejubu scored the third goal in the 85th minute.

Speaking with Sportingtribune after the match, an elated 3SC coach, Edith Agoye said he was not surprised by the performance of his players as they played to instruction.
“I must commend the performance of these players despite the difficult start but gradually we are coming up and we give glory to God that we got the goals that gave us maximum points.
“We want to build on this victory because we are craving for more points so as to make our fans happy. I thank the fans for their support to the team because they really motivated us to win this encounter.
“We all know what is happening to Heartland but this is a unique result to Shooting Stars especially for our fans,” Agoye said.
In his reaction, the Heartland coach, Christian Obi faulted his players saying they had a bad day and lost focus having held the home team for the entire first half only to cave in the second stanza.
