Street artiste and ZaZoo crooner, Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, suffered his first defeat in celebrity boxing on Friday night as skit maker, Carter Efe, secured a unanimous decision victory in Lagos.
Portable, who had recorded wins over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington in previous bouts, had entered the fight with confidence, promising to claim another belt.

“I will use you to collect my third belt. Charles Okocha was bigger than you, Speed Darlington was bigger than you, and I beat them. I will beat you now,” he said before the contest.
Efe responded: “One punch and you fall.”
The bout began with Portable pressing forward, throwing early punches, but Efe stayed composed and relied on counter-attacks.
His uppercuts and body shots slowed the singer’s approach.
In the second round, Portable maintained the same style, but Efe improved his accuracy, landing cleaner combinations while avoiding prolonged exchanges.
The final round followed a similar pattern, with Efe maintaining control and connecting with more punches before the bell.
All three judges scored the bout 27-30 in favour of Efe, ending Portable’s run in celebrity boxing and handing the skit maker the title.
The judges’ decision confirmed Efe as the winner and new celebrity boxing champion. He is also reported to have earned a N50 million prize following the victory.
