Scotland have confirmed their squad for the 2026 World Cup, with Ross Stewart returning after a long absence, Findlay Curtis included among the younger selections, and Lennon Miller left out.
Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon, 43, is among the three goalkeepers named by head coach Steve Clarke.
Stewart, 29, had been out of the national team picture since 2022 following injury problems. He has two senior caps and earned his recall after scoring 11 goals in 33 appearances for Southampton this season, including a goal in the Championship play-off semi-final win over Middlesbrough.
Tommy Conway, who featured in that semi-final for Middlesbrough, misses out after an injury sustained in the second leg ruled him out of contention.

Findlay Curtis, 19, who made his debut against Japan in March and scored five goals during a loan spell at Kilmarnock, is included. Ben Gannon-Doak also returns after recovering from injury at Bournemouth.
Lennon Miller, who has made 25 appearances for Udinese and earned four caps last year, was not selected after missing recent international fixtures against the Ivory Coast and Japan.
Scotland will face Haiti on 14 June, Morocco on 19 June and Brazil on 24 June in Group C. The opening two matches will be staged in Massachusetts, with the final group game in Miami.
Before the tournament, Clarke’s side will play Curacao at Hampden on 30 May and Bolivia in New Jersey on 6 June.
In goal, Craig Gordon is joined by Angus Gunn and Liam Kelly. The trio have shared limited club minutes this season, with just 15 appearances between them.
In attack, Clarke selects Che Adams, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst, Lawrence Shankland and Ross Stewart, leaving out Hull City’s Oli McBurnie, who scored 18 goals this season.
McBurnie’s total was higher than several forwards selected, but he misses out as Clarke finalises his attacking options.
Eleven players in the squad were also part of the Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 squads, including captain Andy Robertson. Others include Jack Hendry, Scott McKenna, Kieran Tierney, Ryan Christie, Billy Gilmour, Kenny McLean, Scott McTominay and John McGinn, who remains Scotland’s all-time top scorer with 20 international goals.
