The attacker is currently a free agent, but has confirmed that he will find a club for the new Nigeria topflight season
Aremu Afeez has revealed that he hasn’t decided on which club he’ll play for next Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Afeez, who is currently in Ibadan, was spotted in Lagos during the week and he gave details of his likely destination.
Aremu Afeez has played for Enugu Rangers, Sunshine Stars and Rivers United.
“I’m positive that I’ll play for an ambitious club next season. Though I haven’t decided on the exact club I’ll play for next season but that will be sorted out in a week’s time,” Aremu told Goal.
“I am in Lagos during the break where I train to keep fit and right there I got some offers. I may play for Lagos-based team, MFM FC or consider the interest from my former club, Sunshine Stars.”
Afeez joined Rivers United from Sunshine Stars mid way into 2015/16 NPFL season and may complete a move to a new club before the NPFL 2016/17 starts in the first week of December.
