Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, has won the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Award for Women’s Player of the Year 2023.
The Barcelona forward at Monday’s awards ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco, became the footballer with most wins after winning the award for a record sixth time.
Oshola won the CAF gong for best African female footballer in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and again in 2023.

The Nigerian duo of Michelle Alozie and Tosin Demehin made the CAF women’s best XI.
