MANCHESTER United manager, Jose Mourinho, wants to sign Sergi Aguero from rival club, Manchester City.
The Sunday Times quoted a potential price of £55m, which seems bizarrely cheap in today’s market for a player of Aguero’s status.
Aguero, who has returned 120 goals from 178 league appearances for City and won the division’s Golden Boot two seasons ago, is unique among European football’s leading strikers.
He is widely known to have been deemed surplus to requirements by City manager Pep Guardiola and thus is available for sale.’
