Allardyce was sacked as manager of the England national team after just 67 days and one match, after being caught up in a scandal involving the ‘Daily Telegraph’.
According to the ‘Daily Mail’, Allardyce is planning to sue the FA for the way they handled the fallout from his removal as England manager.
Allardyce’s lawyers have reportedly sent a 5000-word letter to the FA chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn, which calls into question the process used to end Allardyce’s tenure prematurely.
It is understood that the former Crystal Palace boss was deeply disappointed at his sacking and the events which led to it, and proceeded it, but he did return to football management to keep Crystal Palace in the Premier League last season, before resigning in the summer.
