Amoo hopeful against Sunshine Stars

Technical adviser of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Fatai Amoo has expressed optimism that his men are capable of beating Sunshine Stars today in Akure before their teeming fans in a match day 2 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Oluyole Warriors last Sunday in Ibadan began the new season with a 2-0 victory over Lobi Stars and Amoo believes the fall of Owena Waves today is not impossible.

The former sunshine Stars handler while speaking with Tribunesport after the match said the technical crew would correct all the mistakes noticed during the game against Lobi Stars, just as he promised 3SC supporters of a good outing today.

“We are not ready to make any mistakes against Sunshine Stars, we need to work on our defence line and guard against the errors we made during our last match.

“Sunshine Stars are good just as we have good players who can can deliver and earn us the maximum points. The victory over Lobi is a boost and we hope to consolidate this form against all odds.

“We still have a long way to go, we can’t praise any players now, football is about team work and we just have to let these work harder and return Shooting Stars where they belong,” the former coach of Sunshine Stars and Julius Berger said.
