RETURNING Shooting Stars coach, Fatai Amoo, resumed training sessions with players of the team on Tuesday evening with a handful of enthusiasts in attendance to assess the prospects ahead the 2016/ 2017 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
However, Amoo did not have a full-house of personnel and warned that any of his players who fails to show up by Friday would be deemed to have left the team.
“I am glad to be here, a familiar ground, a familiar terrace, we have a robust hope,” Amoo said after Tuesday’s training. “We can achieve our goals if we put all hands on deck,’ he added.
He further said that other teams were also getting set for the new season, hence there is need to set up a strong base for the Shooting Stars.
Meanwhile, media officer of the team, Jubril Arowolo said the presence of Amoo has lifted morale in the team.
“We know what he can do, we are so positive this coming season will be brighter for all of us.”
Arowolo also revealed the new set-up in the technical crew thus: Fatai Amoo (technical adviser), Edith Agoye, (chief coach), Lateef Yusuf (goalkeepers’ trainer), Kabiru Alausa, (assistant coach) and Sodiq Dabiri ( assistant coach 2/trainer).
