Ansar-Ud-Deen High School alumni donates sports kits to alma mater

The 2001 set of the Ansar-Ud-Deen High School, Ibadan, old students association, has donated sports kits to alma mater in a bid to encourage sports in the school.

The kits were presented on Sunday during the alumni annual reunion and fund raising held at the school premises, Oke Ado area of Ibadan.

Speaking at the event, the set’s coordinator, Prince Ridwan Olatunji, said that the gesture was aimed at celebrating the set’s 20 years out of school anniversary.

He stated that the set also donated the sport items with the aim of giving support to sporting activities in the school which according to him was crucial in the education of students.

Olanrewaju added that the 2001 set had been working with the national body of the alumni to do some renovations in the school, but noted that the choice of sports kits donation came first because sporting activities brought fame to the school during their days.

He said that sporting glory made Ansar-Ud-Deen High School, Ibadan, to become one of the most popular schools in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

Olatunji, however appreciate the national president of the group Olaogun Soliu and the members of the 2001 set for their support towards the success of the anniversary.
