ARSENAL are prepared to make £22million move to sign Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Dennis, from Belgian side, Club Brugge, The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
Already, the authorities at Club Brugge are resigned to losing Club Brugge striker as manager Philippe Clement told La Dernière Heure. “He can also count on a lot of interest. It is the time for him to take a new step.”
And that’s good news for Premier League quartet Arsenal, Everton, Wolves and Newcastle who are known to be interested in the twice-capped Nigeria international.
Dennis, 22, has enjoyed a decent campaign for Club Brugge – scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 33 appearances – including a Champions League brace against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Apart from Dennis, Arsenal are also interested in Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is looking to strength his defence ahead of the 2020/2021 campaign and has identified Elvedi as an affordable option.

The 17-capped Switzerland international has made 158 appearances for the Bundesliga club and has only missed two fixtures in all competitions this campaign.
The 23-year-old centre-back’s contract is set to expire in June 2021 and French publication Le10sport think he would cost around £25million.
