Arsenal sets €30m price tag for wantaway Folarin Balogun

Arsenal have set a price tag of at least €30m for Folarin Balogun after his breakout campaign on loan at Reims, according to reports.

The England youth international has impressed with 18 goals for the Ligue 1 side this season, leading to interest from several clubs, including Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and RB Leipzig.

However, the loan deal does not include a permanent option, and Balogun is set to return to North London this summer. Sources close to the player have indicated that he is not willing to remain on Arsenal’s bench, given the number of talented forwards available to manager Mikel Arteta.

With his contract set to run until 2025, Arsenal are open to selling Balogun but are looking for a substantial transfer fee in return. Despite interest from several Ligue 1 sides, including Marseille, Monaco, and Lille, his high valuation could make a move to France unlikely.

Balogun is reportedly keen to join a club that plays in European competition, and the likes of Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and RB Leipzig could offer him that opportunity. Meanwhile, Reims are looking to replace his goal output by bringing in two young forwards.
