An Aston Villa fan’s peculiar tattoo to celebrate John Terry arrival… on his backside!

An Aston Villa supporter promised to get inked if his side completed the signing of the Chelsea legend, and he proved to be a man of his word.

John Terry signed a one-year deal for Aston Villa on Monday after being released by Chelsea, which provided cause for celebration for most of the Birmingham side’s fans.

One Villa supporter, Guy Higgins, may not have welcomed the news so lightly. When the rumours of Terry moving to Villa Park, putting an end to his 22-year career at Chelsea, were just getting started, Higgins made a bold declaration. He promised he would get the defenders name inked on his bum if the signing was confirmed.

After Terry’s recruitment was announced, Higgins was made to follow through on his promise and he posted the results on his Twitter account, along with the caption: ‘It’s a tad tender but it’s done… if we get linked with Messi I’m just keeping quiet in future #AVFC’.

The full artwork reads: ‘John Terry. Captain, Leader, Villain. S.O.T.C’, S.O.T.C (S*** On The City) in referrence to a chant aimed at Villa’s rivals Birmingham City, who also expressed interest in making a swoop for the former England captain.

Guy Higgins’ support for his club is not open to argument, and he has also established that he is a man who stands behind his promises..
