Barcelona have failed with an offer of £45million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Mina has been on United boss Jose Mourinho’s radar, but the Reds are reportedly preparing to launch a bid to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester, while Jerome Boateng and Toby Alderweireld are also on their wanted list.
Pogba to Barcelona has been doing the rounds for a while with the World Cup winner meeting with Barcelona ambassador and fellow Frenchman Eric Abidal during pre-season.

There is no doubt that Pogba has a difficult relationship with Mourinho, who was hardly glowing in his praise for his midfielder’s performances in Russia this summer, but he seems unwilling to part with the Frenchman.
Mina and Gomes have both failed to establish themselves at Camp Nou and they do not offer the required stature to help push through a deal for the man United paid over £90million for – before he went on to win a World Cup.

Now it remains to be seen if Barca are going to come back in with a fresh offer before Thursday, although they do have the rest of the month to sign players.
