All is set for Bayelsa State to host the Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Nigeria (ABBFN) Ultimate Night of Champions from 3rd to 5th October, 2025, at the Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall in Yenagoa.
ABBFN President, Elekima Soye, said the national bodybuilding championship would serve as a qualifier for the IFBB Mr Universe Championship scheduled to hold in Lagos on October 11, 2025.
Elekima added that top Nigerian bodybuilders, physique athletes, bikini and fit models would compete at the event as he urged the public and private sectors, corporate organisations, philanthropists, and individuals to sponsor or partner with the Federation.
He also called on exhibitors and potential sponsors to contact the organisers of the national bodybuilding championship as soon as possible.
“Participation and registration are free,” Elekima said.
While the event is being organised under the patronage of Governor Douye Diri, organisers said over N2 million in cash prizes and consolation awards will be won at the championship.
