The Bavarians have now failed to win any of their last three encounters, and the coach was not pleased with what he saw as Frankfut pulled back twice to draw
Bayern failed to take advantage of Borussia Dortmund’s 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin on Friday as Frankfurt equalised twice, through Szabolcs Huszti and Marco Fabian, despite Huszti being sent off when his side trailed 2-1.
The champions have a two-point lead at the top of the table, but Ancelotti felt his team were not alert enough and said he will consider changes for Wednesday’s Champions League game against PSV.
“We didn’t play well and showed a bad attitude,” Ancelotti said.
“We were asleep for the first 45 minutes, which is too much in any game.
“I have to change that, I want to see my team [play]. I’ll have to think about changes.”
Thomas Muller suffered a nasty gash to the head during the game, but the forward was also critical of Bayern’s performance.
“We have not played from A to Z today, as we imagined,” he said.
“We as a team are currently making too many mistakes.”
Bayern’s problems are exacerbated by a leg injury for Franck Ribery that rules the winger out of the PSV match.
