Bernardo Silva travels to Manchester… to sign for City!

Silva scored eight goals and made nine assists in the Ligue 1 this year.

THE Monaco star flew into Manchester to undergo a medical at City ahead of a record £60 million move, as reported by various sources of the English press.

Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva is a much-coveted asset in the current market, with top European clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United showing interest in the player.

However, Manchester City seem to have won the race for the Portuguese midfielder, and are prepared to spend a club-record £60 million.

The Portugal international flew into Manchester Airport from Mallorca on Thursday night, and is set to undergo a medical for City on Friday.

With Guardiola beginning his summer clear-out by letting go of several players, the club appear to be doing their homework which has allowed them to beat rivals United to the signing of Silva by getting the deal over the line early.
