Paulinho is now a Barcelona player.
The Catalan giants will pay €40m for the former Tottenham Hotspur man, with his four-year deal including a buy-out clause set at €120m.
Barcelona’s official website says that the 29-year-old will complete his medical on Thursday before signing his contract and being presented at the Camp Nou.
There will also be a press conference to mark his arrival at 2.15pm CET the same day.
Paulinho had been heavily linked with a move to Ernesto Valverde’s side all summer, though the deal hit a sticking point over the fee. That has now been solved and the player will soon join up with his new team-mates.
The player made 95 appearances for Guangzhou Evergrande after joining them in 2015, scoring 27 goals.
