Fulham have cleared the path to sign Gary Cahill on loan after sending Timothy Fosu-Mensah back to Manchester United.
Love Sport claim Fosu-Mensah’s temporary deal has been terminated, which leaves Fulham with the room to make one more loan signing from a Premier League club.
And that looks increasingly likely to be Cahill, who has only played 21 minutes of Premier League football so far this season under Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

The 33-year-old is desperate to play and a six-month loan deal under Claudio Ranieri would ensure he stays in the Premier League.
It would also mean little upheaval for the Sheffield-born centre-back as Fulham‘s training ground is just 11 miles from Chelsea’s Cobham base via the A3.
