CAR shock Super Eagles in W/Cup qualifiers

The Central African Republic (CAR) pulled off one of the biggest upsets in World Cup qualifiers after beating Super Eagles in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Lagos on Thursday evening.

Kari Namnganda scored the only goal of the match in the 91st minute to record their first victory over Super Eagles.

The Gernot Rohr led side struggled to break the CAR’s defensive organisation all through the encounter with a lot of extremely poor final balls.

The CAR ensured a wonderful defending all through the encounter and was lucky to grab late win to shock Nigeria.
