Frank Lampard is set for an emotional return to Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
As a reward for his Derby County side beating Manchester United at Old Trafford on penalties earlier in the week, the Blues’ all-time leading scorer will look to get one over his former club at Stamford Bridge next month.
That’s not the only mouth-watering tie in round four as there will be a London derby at the London Stadium as West Ham United – who thrashed Macclesfield Town earlier in the week – will host rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The two sides met at the same stage last season with the Hammers coming back from 2-0 down at Wembley to win 3-2 and Manuel Pellegrini will be hopeful of a similar result.
Fulham face holders Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Crystal Palace have another Championship side to overcome as they’ll face Middlesbrough – managed by ex-Eagles boss Tony Pulis – at the Riverside Stadium.
