CHAN 2018: Eagles launch operation conquer Morocco at home

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have code-named Sunday’s Championship of African Nations Cup against host as ‘Operation Conquer the host’ two days going into the game.

Goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye said shortly after Nigeria beat Sudan by a lone goal in Wednesday’s second semifinal, boasted that having gone thus far, the Eagles would not relent until they carry the trophy.

”We go one game after the other and now that we are in the final, we know it is going to be a different story from the previous ones because we are playing Morocco in the final so we have now launched ‘Operation Conquer the Hosts’ among ourselves and we shall approach without fear” said Ajiboye, who came in for first choice and team captain, Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Ajiboye also won accolades from national team expatriate trainer, Gernot Rohr after pulling saves against Sudan that ensured Nigeria’s passge to the final.
