Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has been backed to succeed by Man Utd counterpart, Jose Mourinho
Chelsea are in good hands with Maurizio Sarri at the helm, according to Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
The Italian will took charge at Stamford Bridge this summer, replacing compatriot Antonio Conte who endured a disappointing final season at the helm.
Sarri is desperate to bring in fresh faces this summer as he looks to guide Chelsea back into the top four.
The former Napoli boss faces a fight to hang on to his key players, with Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Willian all heavily linked with exits.
Mourinho won three Premier League titles over two spells as Chelsea manager before taking over at United six months after being sacked by Roman Abramovich for the second time.
And the Portuguese doesn’t think Sarri will have a problem in transforming Chelsea back into title contenders.

“I don’t know him,” he told beIN SPORTS.
“When I was in Italy from 2008-10, he was not in Serie A. I never met him or played against him. I just follow football and lately the good work he did with Napoli.
“In England, all the good managers have the desire to come. It’s a crazy competition with a high level so I think every manager has the dream to come so he had the chance to come.
“He has a fantastic team, fantastic players and squad – I think he has conditions to do good work.”
