The current European champions take on Latvia tonight, but have managed to get involved in the craze that has taken the internet by storm

FIRST we had the craze of the ‘Harlem Shake,’ then we had the ‘dab’ which we have only just recovered from, and now its the ‘mannequin challenge.’

And current European Champions Portugal are the latest side to get involved in the craze taking the internet by storm.

The phenomenon started in American high-schools, and now the world has taken notice, with celebrities and footballers all wanting to not miss out.

All that you need to do in the challenge, is don’t move and don’t make a noise, exactly like when you played musical statues as a child.

While music plays in the background, one unlucky person takes up the role of director, and goes around the room filming everyone staring into space.

As you would expect, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo – who else, that takes centre stage, appearing in only his white underwear while the majority of his squad are in full training kits.

The squad clearly aren’t thinking too much of their World Cup qualifier against Latvia tonight in Group B, and go into the match looking to win three consecutive matches.
