Crystal Palace will revive interest in Michy Batshuayi after a deal to sign Dominic Solanke on loan hit a snag.
Liverpool striker Solanke is recovering from a slight hamstring injury and is besieged with offers including permanent transfers and interest from Palace’s fierce rivals Brighton.
He expects to leave Anfield this month and wants time to consider his options and avoid being rushed into a move.

Palace, Burnley and Huddersfield were among those in pursuit but he wants a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Batshuayi, another Chelsea striker, has been on loan at Valencia this season but it has not been a successful move.
The 25-year-old Belgian has scored only three goals in Spain – only one in La Liga – and has lost his place in the team.
Palace have had him in their sights since 2016 when they agreed a fee with Marseille before he joined Chelsea.
