Daniele Rugani would make Maurizio Sarri happy ―Agent

Chelsea have made an 'important offer' for Daniele Rugani, according to the player's agent, Davide Torchia.

The agent of Daniele Rugani has said that Chelsea’ really like’ the Juventus defender and have made ‘an important offer’ for him.

Rugani is one of Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s top transfer targets but his current club are reluctant to sell the 23-year-old, according to agent Davide Torchia.

However, Torchia admits that a move could suit Rugani as he wants more game time, while Juventus could be convinced to sell for the right fee.

“The Blues really like Rugani and have made an important offer,” Torchia told Radio VS. “Juve are aware of the interest of Chelsea but for now they don’t want to sell the player.

“We know everything has a price, Rugani is a defender that would make Chelsea’s manager happy and it would be a good investment for Chelsea.

“Rugani wants to play more games because he feels that he has the technical and moral qualities to do a career similar to Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli.”

Gonzalo Higuain, who also plays for Juventus, has been linked to Chelsea as well.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia was spotted in Milan on Thursday when she is said to have met Juventus bosses to discuss possible deals for Rugani and Higuain.
