Danladi seeks Federation Cup title with Nasarawa United

The Solid Miners’ boss has stated that the Lafia side are ready to lift their first Cup crown with victory over the Anambra Warriors

Nasarawa United chairman, Danladi Isaac has disclosed that the Solid Miners are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to secure their first Federation Cup title after reaching their first ever grand finale after several attempts.

The Lafia side defeated Enyimba 1-0 in the semi final courtesy of Seun Sogbeso’s first half strike at the Lekan Salami Stadium and Isaac who also doubles as the chairman of the League Managers Forum stated that Nasarawa United players, coaches and officials have started serious preparation to ensure that they beat FC IfeanyiUbah in the final.

“We are thankful to God for making us to progress to the final this term after losing in the quarter final and semi final respectively in the last two seasons Federation cup,” Isaac told Goal.

“We believe it is our time and year to put Nasarawa State in the in the front-burner and we are doing everything possible to ensure that we win it this time around. It is our very first final and we want to make it very unique and historic.”

The Solid Miners will face FC IfeanyiUbah in the final of the oldest club competition in Nigeria on October 30 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
