Despite Nigeria’s huge win on Saturday, head coach Gernot Rohr says the Super Eagles still work in progress.
Speaking after Nigeria’s 4-0 spanking of Libya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Uyo on Saturday, the German said the Eagles were not compact in the defence in the first half of the match.
“This result does not mean we had a perfect game today. We had problems defensively, especially in the first half,” Rohr said at the post-match conference.
However, he promised to correct the lapses before the Super Eagles face Libya in the reverse fixture in Tunisia on Tuesday.

“Before we play Libya again in three days, we must improve on our weak areas,” Rohr said.
