Aston Villa are reportedly considering a January loan offer for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
The Villans recently appointed Dean Smith as manager after the sacking of Steve Bruce and the new man in charge, who left Brentford to take the position at Villa Park, is already looking to strengthen his squad in January.
It is being claimed the 47-year-old is eyeing up a loan move for Scotland international McTominay, who has struggled to make any real impact on United’s first team so far this season.

The midfielder, who made 13 Premier League appearances in the last campaign, has only featured in four league games this term and the lack of playing time is becoming a real frustration at the moment.
Villa are hoping the lure of regular football will persuade McTominay to make the temporary switch to the Midlands although Leeds, who are third in the Championship, are also said to be showing an interest.
