Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic seems set to join Eredivisie giants Ajax this summer, according to reports in the Netherlands.
The 29-year-old has played the last four seasons for the south-coast outfit and started 34 Premier League games in the campaign that’s just ended.
He managed to bag six goals and a memorable brace against rivals Bournemouth, but struggled to find his best form.
According to De Telegraaf, it seems as though his stay at St Mary’s will soon be over, as it is said he is keen for a third stint in Dutch football, having already played for Groningen and FC Twente.
The fact that Saints managed to avoid relegation means there is a glimmer of hope they might hold on to the schemer but it appears as though his time in English football could soon be over.
Tadic has scored 23 goals from 162 appearances in all competitions for Southampton and will play for Serbia at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
