Eagles friendlies: I’m ready to justify call-up, says Eze

CHAN Eagles star, Stephen Eze has been named among the 28-man squad for Super Eagles World Cup warm-ups against Poland and Serbia later this month.

Lokomotiv Plovdiv FC defender said he’s excited with the call-up and promised to deliver.

Speaking with Sporting Tribune from his based in Bulgaria, Eze said “I’m ready to work hard to justify the faith of the technical crew.

“I know we’ve very capable defenders and I’m just so pleased to be given this opportunity. Hopefully I can contribute to the success of our team if called upon,” former Kano Pillars said.

Nigeria will face Poland at the 43,000–capacity Stadium Wroclaw on Friday, March23, 2018.

Four days later, the Eagles will take to the pitch against Serbia at The Hive, London, the home ground of Barnet FC and London Bees.
