THE Super Eagles have arrived in Paris, France in continuation of their preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Bafana Bafana next month.

Nigeria had on Friday played a 1-1 draw with Corsica in Ajaccio as part of their preparations for next month’s 2019 AFCON qualifier on June 10 in Uyo.

While in Paris, the three-time African champions will square up to Togo on June 1 before returning home to face South Africa. The team are currently camped in Hyatt Regency.

Meanwhile, the President of the Executive Council of Corsica has predicted that Nigeria will win the World Cup. Gilles Simeoni, during a reception for players and officials of the Super Eagles, said Nigeria would rule the football world.

President Simeoni said: “We have been huge fans of the Super Eagles in Corsica since 1994. We are behind you. You will win the World Cup.”

The reception, which took place on Thursday, also had in attendance members of the Corsican parliament.
