With less than two hundred days to the start of the biggest football fiesta in the world, Super Eagles and KAA Gent of Belgium star, Moses Daddy Simon believes adequate preparation and hard work will lead Nigeria to a great outing in Russia.
Speaking, Simon said Nigeria has all it takes to succeed if the right things are put in place, whilst also praising the NFF for arranging quality friendly matches for the team.
“I believe we have a good chance of doing well at the Work Cup if we work hard and stay dedicated; we have to be united and committed to ensure we succeed in Russia.
“Our first game will be very key and I am sure the team will be ready to take on Croatia. Though it will be a very difficult game, I think we have the players to match them man-to-man.
“The friendly games will be a good preparation for us, particularly the England game, because it will give us insights into what to expect against Croatia and Iceland. It will also give the coaches an opportunity to select the players who will be capable of representing the country in Russia,” Simon told AOIFootball.com.
