Ekiti United, Are FC cruise into semis

Ekiti United FC and Are FC were both dominant in the two remaining quarterfinal matches decided on Monday in the ongoing BAFEM Cup 2021 at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.

In the first match of the afternoon, Ekiti United FC defeated Choice FC 4-1 to book a place in the semi finals while Are FC became the highest scoring side in the competition as they scored 7 past Agbonna FC to pick the final semi final ticket.

The semi final pairing will see a rematch between Ikere United FC against EKSU Galacticos FC while the second semi final will be between Are FC and Ekiti United FC.

Speaking, sponsor of thetournament, Rt Honourable Femi Bamisile has opined that football is one of the tools in solving Nigeria’s insecurity and banditry issues.
