The Desert Warriors chairman has revealed that they have given the coach a new three-year deal at the club
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, El-Kanemi Warriors have resumed on Monday in Maiduguri.
The Chairman of the Desert Warriors, Mohammed Bala Zana confirmed that the team have resumed on Maiduguri and a new target for next season has been set, while the contract of coach, Ladan Bosso has been renewed.
“We have resumed officially today being Monday. We decided to start from our home and then go for a closed camping within country. It looks more like the league will resume in December and that simply means that we have to be prepared,” Zana told Goal.Â
“As regards the contract of our coach, Ladan Bosso we have offered him a new three years contract and that sorted out. So the focus now is on having a good preparation.”
Warriors finished eighth last season on the NPFL log but Mohammed Bala Zana has revealed that next season’s target is appreciate the government for making sure Borno State and the north- east enjoys peace.
“We targeting the league trophy next season or at least secure a continental slot so that Africa will play at Maiduguri. This will be a good way to appreciate the government for making sure that peace is back in the north- east,” Zana concludes
