FIFA has unveiled the TRIONDA FINAL as the official match ball for the semi-finals, bronze medal match and final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The world football governing body announced the new ball on Tuesday, confirming it will be used in the tournament’s final four matches, including the final scheduled for July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States.

According to FIFA, the TRIONDA FINAL retains the performance-focused construction of the original TRIONDA ball introduced in October 2025 but features a new premium design in gold, white and black.

FIFA said the design reflects the journey to football’s biggest prize, with the gold finish symbolising the FIFA World Cup trophy and the black base giving the ball a distinct identity for the tournament’s closing stages.

The governing body added that the design pays tribute to all 16 host cities of the expanded 2026 World Cup.

The four cities staging the remaining matches—Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York, New Jersey—feature prominently, while Boston, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Monterrey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver are incorporated into the ball’s triangular graphic elements.

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, said the new ball reflects the importance of the tournament’s decisive matches.

He said, “The TRIONDA FINAL ball for the last four matches of the FIFA World Cup is here.

“The iconic TRIONDA has brought so much joy every time it has hit the back of the net in this FIFA World Cup, and it perfectly embodies the unity and passion of the tournament’s host nations Canada, Mexico and the United States.

“For the final four matches of the tournament, this TRIONDA FINAL will be at the feet of the best players on the planet.

“Through every touch, dribble, flick, pass, cross, save, strike and goal, the 16 cities that have helped FIFA stage the record-breaking 23rd edition of the tournament will be further etched into FIFA World Cup folklore.”

FIFA said the TRIONDA FINAL incorporates the latest version of adidas Connected Ball Technology, which provides real-time ball data to assist match officials in making faster decisions while also enhancing match analysis.

The semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup begin on July 14, while the bronze medal match and final will be played on July 19.
