After sampling life as a professional footballer during training with Borussia Dortmund, Usain Bolt is clear that he wants to pursue a career in the game.
His 58-minute session attracted 1,500 fans, 30 camera crews and 137 journalists, with 1.2 million people watching online in China alone.
“I’m going to work from a sporting perspective and then come back,” Bolt said after the session, speaking to Bild.
“I want to show the world that it’s possible.
“I want to be able to play for a team in one of Europe’s five big leagues.
“I really enjoyed these two days.
“I have to admit it was tiring, I’m not used to running for so long.”
Bolt also confessed that Dortmund’s Mario Gotze, had broken his heart when he scored the World Cup winning goal in the 2014 final against Argentina, a nation that Bolt proudly supports in footballing terms.
