Thibaut Courtois will stay at Chelsea for at least one more season and with his contract ending in 2019, he will sit down with the club ahead of the World Cup to discuss renewing, according to Sporza.
The former Atletico Madrid shot-stopper has been linked in the past to a move back to the Spanish capital, but it appears as though he is happy to stay in London.
“I have a year more on my contract at Chelsea and I am fine,” said Courtois.
“At the end of the season we will sit down and decide the future. I live comfortably and I know that next year I will also be at Chelsea.”
