Argentina’s national team are in Spain preparing for their international friendly with La Roja, but Javier Pastore has taken some time out of training to make clear he doesn’t believe Neymar will leave Paris-Saint Germain.
Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the forward since December, although Pastore finds it difficult to imagine the PSG ownership allowing the Brazilian to leave after just one season in the French capital.
“I don’t think he’ll leave, I see it more of a media game than reality,” he explained in an interview with Onda Cero.
“When Neymar arrived in Paris he was very happy.
“Of course this club isn’t Barcelona, and it isn’t the same as playing in Spanish stadiums.”
With regards to his own domestic future, the Argentine playmaker is sure that he will complete what he started in Paris, while his contract is due to expire in June 2019.
“I’ll finish my cycle in Paris, I’m focused on finishing the season in the best way possible,” he confirmed.
“We want to win the cups that remain.
“Spain is an option for me in the future, due to both the language and the style of football.”
