“Chief Akinjide will be missed from the golfing circle and God will give him eternal rest.
Also, Ibironke said Chief Akinjide is Trustee if Ibadan Golf Club saying his death came as a rude shock.
“Chief Akinjide was an avid golfer whose passion for golf never waned till he finally died. Hs love for the game was so strong that he had a mini golf course in his sprawling mansion in United Kingdom. The portrait of the said Golf Course is conspicously displayed at his living room at Idi Ishin, Ibadan.
“His contribution to the development of IGC cannot be overemphasised through his support to the club over the year.
“Late Akinjide gave the club a cold room and a befitting restaurant which was named after the legal icon in recognition of his sole sponsorship of the said project,” Ibironke said.
