Real Madrid are reportedly moving towards a deal for Chelsea star, Eden Hazard as Marco Asensio eyes the Bernabeu exit.
The latest reports from Spain suggest the winger could be on his way to Real once the current campaign draws to a close though.
According to Diario Gol, negotiations for Hazard are advancing.
And they indicate he could join Real after the 2018 World Cup.
However, Hazard’s potential arrival from Chelsea is not pleasing everyone in Madrid.
Asensio is said to be fuming over his already limited game-time under Zinedine Zidane.
And Diario Gol claim the threat posed by Hazard has reportedly forced him to tell Florentino Perez: “If he comes I’m going”.
Whether the Real chief will heed that warning remains to be seen.
Zidane himself has supposedly told Perez to get a deal over the line for Hazard.
And the president may choose pleasing his manager over keeping Asensio in the Spanish capital.
Asensio would not be without suitors if he was to leave Real.
Manchester City are apparently keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
