Henry full of praise for Fabregas

Monaco boss, Thierry Henry was full of praise for new signing Cesc Fabregas after he helped his struggling side to a draw at Marseille.

The Spanish midfielder signed for the club on Friday and was pitched straight into the Ligue 1 clash at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday.

Henry was pleased with what he saw from his former team-mate and says the point was a good one, if they can use it to build some winning momentum.

“Cesc evolved with the game. Minute after minute, he started to put his hand on the game and take that break,” Henry said.

“On some actions, we could have finished better, but it comes step by step. We have to try to make progress, but I think that, especially in terms of mood, this point is good if we win the next games.

“It’s good for the mood, especially when we are away. It’s good for the mood and the way it went, where once again we had to react and we did it.”
