IBB golf club BoT inaugurates interim management committee

The chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, has inaugurated the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the club.

Dongban-Mensem, charged the newly inaugurated committee to swing into action immediately and rebrand the club. Sporting Tribune recall that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, had on April 26, approved the appointment of a ten-member IMC chaired by Peter Deshi, to oversee the club’s administration an action taken to stabilise the leadership crisis at the Club following the postponement of the its April 26 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The BOT chairman charged the committee to work together as a team saying the club was set to undergo a lot of changes.

She said, “I am very delighted to convey this meeting in view of the inauguration of the IMC. This has become necessary with the power conferred on the Board to oversee the activities of the Interim Management Committee.
