Ifeanyi Ubah’s Everton dreaming of NPFL trophy

Handler of the Anambra Wariors believes his charges have got what it takes to secure the Nigerian top flight title.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s gaffer, Rafael Everton is hopeful his charges can go all the way to lift the Nigeria Professional Football League title.

The Anambra Warriors are fourth on the log with 52 points and must breeze aside Wikki Tourist and Enugu Rangers to emerge as league champions.

“So far, we have worked hard to get to where we are in the league. Since I took over the team we have tried to improve the mentality of the team, we already knew that we have good players that ranks amongst the best in the country,” Everton told Goal.

“It was just getting the players to perform on a consistent level that was the challenge. Now that we have succeeded in doing that, I have no doubt that we can go on to win the league.

“I spoke to my players from the first day i came to this club, that i am not here on a safari trip, i told them that i am here to win. We have all it takes to win the league, we will take the matches one after the other and we shall see what will happen.”
