Leicester City’s assistant coach Chris Davies said that the Club has complete trust in Kelechi Iheanacho despite playing a bit-part role thus far.
Iheanacho, who is yet to taste a Premier League action this season, was among the goalscorers as Brendan Rodgers’ men beat Burton Albion 3-1 on Tuesday in the League Cup.
He has only made only two EFL appearances but will be aiming to get a look-in as the Foxes face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday in the League.

Although Leicester City’s assistant manager has not hidden his feelings about what the 23-year old can offer on his day.
“He (Iheanacho) trains well every day, He’s scoring goals in training, he’s playing well and is focused.
“He’s trying to develop his game as much as he can through the training, having less game-time. He’s been a pleasure to work with.
“All he can do is come in and be ready. Through his training and through his focus, he’s come in and got a goal.
“That’s a credit to his mentality. I was really pleased with his performance.

“Towards the end, he was fatigued because he’s not played a lot and has not started a game for a long time. It was great for Kels to get a goal.”
Iheanacho, who has made 64 appearances scoring 11 times for Leicester City, was ignored by Super Eagles chief coach Gernot Rohr for the upcoming AFCON 2021 qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho coming up later this month.
